MSC Stands With the Women of Marikana

The Marikana Support Campaign wishes all women a happy women’s day. We acknowledge the struggles of all women and especially those of Marikana, the widows, sisters and daughters of those killed at the massacre. We also wish to highlight the ongoing struggle for housing and better living conditions that the women of Sikhala Sonke have bravely undertaken.  It is no more apparent than in communities like Marikana that women truly are a rock and their immense contribution to the ongoing struggle should be celebrated every day.
